Sugar content & low-sugar alternatives for kids
Juicy Juice is Harvest Hill's 100% juice line — apple, fruit punch, and the Splashers and Fruitifuls boxes marketed straight at kids. This is the brand where "no added sugar" is completely true and still not the whole story. Across the 86 Juicy Juice variants we reviewed, total sugar averages 17g per serving, and the Fruit Punch and Kiwi Strawberry cartons reach 24–33g. Every gram of it comes from fruit-juice concentrate, which a kid's body handles much the way it handles table sugar — without the fiber that would have come with the whole apple. That's why no Juicy Juice product is published in our low-sugar catalog, even though the label reads 0g added sugar.
Why Juicy Juice isn't in our published catalog
We reviewed 86+ Juicy Juice juice boxes and bottles from USDA and OpenFoodFacts data. The labels declare 0g added sugar, but average total sugar is still 17.4g per serving. None met our Tier D threshold (≤5g of sugar per serving), so the full lineup was archived from the published catalog. The page below routes to actually-low-sugar alternatives in the same format.
